17th Paris Europlace International Financial Forum: “Positioning the Finance Industry to New Growth Opportunities”, Paris, 6th and 7th of July, 2010

On July 6th and 7th, 2010, the Europlace International Finance Forum  took place in Paris. Its main goal was to discuss and project ideas that will drive the finance industry towards new opportunities and developments through the economic crisis. With over 100 speakers and moderators, the forum was based on several topics.

The Managing Director of Madrid Centro Financiero, Isabel Martín Castellá, was one of the eight speakers in the 10th panel: “Post-Crisis Financial Regulation: Concrete Steps to Implement a “Smart Regulation” to Support the Global Economic Growth”, organised by the European Institute for Financial Regulation. This session united some of the world’s bank and financial centre’s directors to discuss the regulations necessary to push for economic growth worldwide. Like many of the forums that Madrid Centro Financiero attends, this is one of the ways organizations have found to unite the ideas of experts in the topics to boost development and economic transparency.
