Madrid Centro Financiero at EUROMONEY’s European Local and Regional Government Finance Conference, May 17th and 18th, Madrid

The European Local and Regional Government Finance conference certainly upheld its reputation as the place for European local and regional governments to meet and share ideas. This year’s conference was a busy and interesting day and a half of networking and debates. The sessions on stage included editorially driven panel discussions, sponsor workshops, interview sessions and keynote speeches. The speakers addressed the issues facing local authorities, exchanged best practice strategies and discussed the way forward for 2010 and beyond. Year after year this conference continues to be one of the most important gatherings for the subnational governments of Europe and the private sector that work with them.

Madrid Centro Financiero was the supporting institution of the Conference, arranging keynote speeches from Mr. Enrique Ossorio, Regional Vice Minister of Finance, Regional Government of Madrid and Mrs. Isabel Martín Castellá, Managing Director of Madrid Centro Financiero.
