Madrid Centro Financiero at the 8th International CIFA Forum (Convention of Independent Financial Advisors). “Financial Bubbles and Regulatory Bubbles: The key role to be played by the independent financial adviser”, Madrid, 28th to 30th April 2010
The VIIIth International CIFA forum (Convention of International Financial Advisers) was held in Madrid from the 28th to 30th April 2010.
For the first time since its launch in 2003, CIFA organizes an International Financial Forum in Madrid. The 8th International CIFA forum, under the title “Financial Bubbles and Regulatory bubbles: the key role to be played by the Independent Financial Advisor” gathered in Madrid over 500 professionals of the independent financial advice field, including highly relevant speakers from international financial markets, such as academics, professionals and policy makers, as well as members from supervisory and regulatory bodies.
Together with CIFA, other institutions that collaborated in the forum were ANAF (National Financial Advisers Association), AIF (Spanish Investment and Finance Advisers Association) and EFPA Spain (European Financial Planning Association).
Madrid Centro Financiero, jointly with Madrid’s Regional Government, was one of the institutional sponsors of the gathering, which was also the occasion of the 2010 CIFA awards ceremony, which recognized institutions and individuals for their merits in the independent financial advice profession and related fields.
