Madrid Centro Financiero in the International Economic Forum BID-OECD for Latin America and the Caribbean, Paris, January 25th, 2010
On the 25th of January, Madrid Centro Financiero participated as a sponsor and a speaker at the II International Economic Forum for Latin America and the Caribbean (“Latin America after the storm: post-crisis scenarios”). The event was co-organized by the OECD Development Centre, the French Ministry of Economy, Industry and Employment and the Inter-American Development Bank.
The Managing Director of Madrid Centro Financiero participated in the panel: “A shift in Trade and Industrial Policies”, which she shared with representatives from the Colombian and Peruvian governments respectively, the EIB and the Andean development Agency. The Managing Director of Madrid Centro Financiero had the opportunity to present the Spanish financial model and the advantages that, in its role of global financial centre, Madrid offers to investors and entrepreneurs worldwide. One major benefit pointed out was Madrid’s capacity to link European and Latin American markets.
